  At EcoGarden we believe that your garden, no matter how small or how grand, is your private sanctuary and should be your little piece of heaven on Earth. We believe that each garden should reflect the spirit of its owner. That it should be designed to express and reflect the personality of the people who enjoy the space we create. We believe that gardens should be in harmony with nature and the natural ecosystems that surround them. We believe in global stewardship, not environmental friendliness. We believe in planting locally for a global change because a garden can last for generations if designed well.

We are not just a company but a family legacy that has been passed down from father to son. Miguel, and his sons, David and Alberto Calvente Mena form an inseparable team with a collective experience of 58 years starting in 1980 with Miguel Calvente Mena who worked as a gardener in Sotogrande for some of the largest gardens in the area. He then helped to lay the foundations for what is now one of the world-class Golf clubs in the world “Valderrama Golf Club” working on the maintenance of the greens, starting in 1992 till 2017. In 2017 Miguel passed on his legacy to David and Alberto who now work together to provide the best gardening service in the Sotogrande area caring for more than 14 gardens. They offer a wide range of services such as general gardening, pool cleaning, repair and maintenance, sustainable irrigation methods (installation and maintenance), as well as xeriscaping, and artificial lawn installation.
